I acknowledge and understand that at the time of booking my hunt with South Texas Elite Outfitters, a non-refundable fee totaling $450 will be charged. This amount serves as the Guide Fee, Sitting Fee, and Deposit for my reservation. The payment of this fee is required to secure my hunting spot and is applied toward various operational costs, including fuel, corn, and maintenance resulting from wear and tear on vehicles used by South Texas Elite Outfitters. Additionally, this fee covers the cost of one full day of hunting.
The $450 Guide Fee/Sitting Fee/Deposit will be deducted from the total price of the $2,000 Buck Hunt, which entitles the hunter to pursue a deer up to the 139" class.
When booking additional hunting days beyond the initial reservation, only the fee for the first day will be credited toward the $2,000 Buck Hunt total. If a hunter chooses to extend the experience by adding more days, the cost for each day is $450. Any remaining fees for further days are not deducted from the $2,000 Buck Hunt total and are to be paid in addition to the $2,000.
I acknowledge that by participating in the $2,000 Buck Hunt, I am entitled to pursue a deer with antlers measuring up to the 139" class. The total cost for this hunt is $2,000.
At the time of booking, a non-refundable Guide Fee, Sitting Fee, and Deposit totaling $450 is required to secure my reservation. This initial payment is applied toward the total hunt cost, leaving a remaining balance of $1,550, which is due at the conclusion of my hunt and must be paid in full before I leave the property. This is calculated as follows: $2,000 Buck Hunt Fee minus the $450 Guide Fee/Sitting Fee/Deposit equals a balance of $1,550.
I understand and agree that if the full payment is not received prior to my departure, the deer I harvested will be forfeited, and South Texas Elite Outfitters will contact law enforcement immediately. Should any further legal actions become necessary to collect the owed amount, I will be responsible for all associated collection and legal fees as the hunter.
I acknowledge and agree that if I pull the trigger during my hunt, regardless of whether I hit or miss the deer, I will be charged the full price for that deer. This policy is based on the experience that many missed shots result from poor marksmanship, often leading to unrecovered deer. Therefore, every shot taken is considered a harvest for the purposes of this agreement.
Should the deer be recovered after the hunter has left the property, the rack will be returned to the hunter. However, the costs associated with returning the rack will be the responsibility of the hunter.
If I wish to pursue a buck with antlers measuring greater than 139 inches, I understand that it is my responsibility to notify South Texas Elite Outfitters prior to the scheduled date of my hunt. Upon notification, South Texas Elite Outfitters and I, as the hunter, will discuss and make specific arrangements regarding the price and any additional details related to the pursuit of a higher-class buck. The terms and conditions for this request will be mutually agreed upon before the hunt takes place.
I acknowledge and agree that if the guide provides me the opportunity to hunt deer and I decide not to take a shot, this decision is solely my own and does not reflect on the guide or South Texas Elite Outfitters. The responsibility for choosing not to shoot rests entirely with me as the hunter, and neither the guide nor South Texas Elite Outfitters shall be held accountable for my choice not to engage in a shot during the hunt.
I acknowledge that participation in hunting activities involves certain inherent risks, which may include, but are not limited to, the use of firearms, encounters with wildlife, operation of vehicles, and navigating challenging terrain. I fully understand and accept these risks as part of the hunting experience.
By signing this agreement, I hereby release and hold harmless South Texas Elite Outfitters, including its owners, guides, and affiliates, from any and all liability for any injury, loss, or damages that may arise as a result of my participation in the hunt. This release applies to all claims, whether known or unknown, and is intended to provide protection for South Texas Elite Outfitters and their representatives against any future legal actions related to my hunting activities.
I acknowledge and agree that I am required to adhere to all regulations established by Texas Parks & Wildlife, as well as the rules and policies set forth by the ranch, throughout the duration of my hunt. I understand that maintaining compliance with these guidelines is essential for ensuring a safe, legal, and respectful hunting experience for all participants.
I further understand and accept that any failure on my part to comply with these regulations or ranch rules may result in the immediate termination of my hunt. In such an event, I recognize that I will not be entitled to any refund of fees or compensation.
